The Draft Experience (DEX) is the ultimate beer league draft tournament experience in the world.  And the only thing we love more than playing hockey is giving an opportunity to service people to play a DEX with other fellow service beer leaguers. Similar to the military community, sports provides so many people with camaraderie and a support system. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to work with various military groups to make events like this happen. 

What is the Military Draft Experience and how is it different from other Draft Tournaments?

 
The Draft Experience gives you an opportunity to meet new people and caters to players of all skill levels.  Our military DEX is only open to active duty, retired, veterans, or other service members. The BLPA supports our military and does this as a way to show the thanks to our military. To do that we do not make a dime off our military DEX events. By doing that we can make these events  extremely affordable and can donate back funds to military organizations such as Warriors Hockey, Skate For the 22, VHU, etc. 

Our hockey draught tournament format ensures teams are evenly balanced so nobody has to worry about rosters, ringers, or subs – everyone just gets to focus on having a good time and playing to the best of their own ability. When the draft tournament weekend is over, you’ll leave with a bunch of new friends and a sweet jersey that is yours to keep!
